You may cancel your Annual Leave on those days. For other kinds of leave, please consult your HR documentation or HR staff. Generally-speaking, MC cannot replace portions in long periods of absence like no-pay leave, maternity leave, sabbatical, etc. In addition, if your leave is “paid for” by the government, MC cannot be used in place to avoid accusations of fraud.
