Mission Trip Grant

  • Mission Trip (self-initiated and not assigned as part of work) grant can be given to staff who would like to join a mission trip organised by Hebron. In this case, staff will be joining the mission trip as would any member. Hebron will cover the transportation between Singapore and the nearest practical port of entry in the foreign country and lodgings during the mission trip. This grant has a quota of one for every three-year employment contract cycle. Those on one-year or two-year employment contracts are not eligible.
  • Staff who are eligible will have to apply stating the reason between April and September (covering Staff Appraisal and budgeting seasons) for trips to be made in the following year. The interest should be raised at Staff Appraisal. His immediate superior will recommend it and the BOM will screen and approve based on their general and trip-specific criteria. The expenses are also paid from the Missions budget.
  • Staff who have missions under their portfolios can also apply.
  • This grant not used or denied in one three-year contract cycle will lapse and cannot be carried over to the next contract cycle or be converted to other benefits.
  • There is no limit to the number of times staff applies for this grant. The quota is on the number of trips in one three-year contract cycle.
